GADDICIANÒ will be co-produced by SIC Soundimageculture

One of my projects in progress, a short or medium-length film that will be shot in Aspromonte, will be part of the accompanying program of the SIC in Brussels. The same atelier will be among the co-producers of the film.

The SIC aims to be a crossroads between cinema, anthropology and visual arts, selecting around 15 projects every year and connecting artists and filmmakers from all over the world around each other's projects.

The approach is that of a cinema that is created through doing and the discussion between artists is around audiovisual material and never around writing.

I really love this concept because we often get lost in the drafting of heavy dossiers and then go and beg various producers to listen to us and understand the project and we find ourselves far from what, in practice, consists of making a film and that is, simply, filming, collecting images and sounds.

I am proud that my project has become part of this program and that it is co-produced by SIC.
